Vasuda Salon founder Emmett Henley has been nominated for Master Stylist of the Year for Northwest Hairstylist Awards. This is the second year in a row for Emmett as Master Stylist, however Vasuda Salon and her team has been nominated 5 times over the past 3 years in categories of Master Colorist, Newcomer of the Year and Hearts & Hands Nomination (for giving back to the community and industry). In October 2016, Seattle Style Night returned for its third year that combined Seattle Fashion Awards and Northwest Hairstyling Awards together in one incredible night of fashion and beauty in the greater Seattle area. The event sold out for its second year with 84 nominees and 250 tickets purchased.
This year, the event returns for its fourth year on Monday, October 16th benefiting The Pink Gene Foundation in collaboration with the end of Seattle Fashion Week increasing attendance and features. Finalists will be chosen from recommendations and industry elites starting on July 6th - August 1st along with expert judges picks in the fashion and hair industry. Chosen finalists will be announced on Monday, August 15th online at www.seattlestylenight.com . All finalists will participate in a photoshoot that will be featured in the Fall 2017 Fashion Issue. The winners will be chosen by the expert judges and announced at the awards ceremony that will feature a fashion showcase of each category and hair shows partnered with salons across the greater Seattle area. In addition, sponsorships will have the opportunity for a fashion showcase or hair runway show. The event will include a cocktail hour prior to the shows, entertainment, local celebrity presenters, swag bags for the VIPs and more.
